The Guardian newspaper has claimed that the Kazakh “journalist” Borat, a character famous in Britain and the United States, was inspired by Mahir Cagri's 'I Kiss You' website.
Borat Sagdiyev is the comic creation of Sacha Baron Cohen, who, according to the news reported by Johnny Dee, is the copy of Mahir Cagri, a Turkish gentleman in his 40s who lives in the western Turkish region of Izmir.
Cagri declared he would open a lawsuit against Cohen soon. |
