Erwin Wurm, one of Austria’s most successfully contemporary artists, has created an extraordinary work of art in Vienna.
Wurm installed a house, which he named "House Attack," upside-down on the facade of the Museum of Modern Arts of Vienna with the help of a crane.
The artist said what he tried to do was criticize a routine life with his work, adding that his work of art might be scary, but at the same time it was enjoyable.
The "exhibition," which cost the artist €100,000, will be on display till Feb. 11, 2007. |
