In Seoul- Last Wednesday the LG Electric Inc. in South Korea and the popular Internet search engine Google Inc. said they would initiate an initial installing on LG mobile phones.
Starting on the second quarter of this year 2007 the LG will start to handset the Google Inc. services and products. These products are as follows: the Google Maps, Gmail and Blogger and will be shipped to North America, Europe and other countries in Asia.
LG is popularly known to be the world’s fifth largest maker of handsets. It is said that LG plans to release around 10 new models of handsets to Google Inc. this year and continue to provide them with the handsets for the coming years.
It was reported in news last week that consumers who are gadgets fanatics and enthusiasts who used to wait for the release of the Apple Inc.’s iPhone worth $500 and up which was to be due out in June was the main reason why consumers started shifting their attention and focus to whether Google Inc. is developing a lower- cost of Internet-enable phone.
But other analysts said that the Google Inc. appears to simply be the building software for Web search and other services like mapping to be connected with iPhone and other mobile phone services.
