Turks march for secularity in Vienna     Monday, June 18 2007 @ 07:40 AM Central Daylight Time A "Flag March" sponsored by the Ataturk Thought Foundation (ADD) and the Ataturk Cultural Center (AKM) in the Austrian capital of Vienna attracted more than 2,000 Turks who marched through Viennese streets shouting slogans in support of secularity for Turkey. The march took place on Saturday, and featured flags of not only Turkey and Northern Cyprus, but also host country Austria. Some of the more frequently heard slogans during the march were also: "Neither EU nor US: completely independent Turkey!" and "Turkey is and will stay secular!" What's Related More from E.U.
