 On Tuesday, Mel Gibson apologized to all the Jewish community for the insulting and harmful words he used when he was arrested for drunken driving.

He said that he is not asking for forgiveness. According to the actor, he is still in the process of understanding where those vicious words came from during that drunken display. He said that he hopes that the members of the Jewish community, whom he has offended would help him in this process of recovery.
Late Monday, ABC announced that the incident had scrapped the plans for Gibson to produce a miniseries on the Holocaust.
Gibson has faced many accusations of anti-Semitism. He produced, directed and financed the 2004 blockbuster "The Passion of the Christ.
