Handheld devices will now come with the Talk software. Google Inc. is now entering the world of mobile telephone as it now partners with the largest maker of handheld mobile devices, Nokia Corp.
With the partnership, an innovation on handheld devices will be introduced. Nokia will be releasing handheld mobile devices that will come with Mountain View Company's Google Talk. The Google Talk is an instant messenger service and Internet calling service at the same time.
Wi-Fi will also be available on the devices that will be released by Nokia Corp. Many technology companies have grown interest on Mobile Wi-Fi calling. They see it as an alternative to the cellular service. Vonage, an Internet calling service, already offers the mobile Wi-Fi. Ebay's Skype will also be offering a similar phone this year.
With the partnership of Google Talk and Nokia, voice over Internet protocol will be the main attraction of Internet telephone calls. However, calls will only be limited to those who have the Google Talk software on the Nokia mobile devices.
