| US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has denied speculation that she will be a Republican Party presidential candidate for the 2008 elections.|
She refuted the claims on American television.
To Fox News Rice said that even though she is proud to be thought of for that position, this is not something that she plans to do and that she will support the candidate from her party.
To NBC, madam Secretary said she is not the type of person who would struggle for the office and that has no interest in the candidacy.
The speculation in Washington claimed the wife of former president Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton from the Democrat Party and Rice from the Republican Party could run against each other.
