THY sponsors Turkish National Football Team

Business Turkish Airlines (THY) has signed a one-year sponsorship contract with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).

Speaking at a signing ceremony held at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul, TFF President Levent Bicakci said: As far as I'm concerned, this is a delayed contract. We could have signed it earlier.

Stating that the first and second league teams would also benefit from the contract, Bicakci said, We have high ambitions like THY.

THY executive board chairman Candan Karlitekin said that THY, which owed its very existence to the nation of Turkey, both financially and morally, supported the Turkish National Team, another bearer of the glorious Turkish flag and loved it in all circumstances.

THY General Manager Abdurrahman Gündogdu said the contract included a discount of $1 million and that the first and second league teams would be able to benefit from the contract.

National Team technical staff, football players, TFF officials, THY officials and workers attended the ceremony. The National Team group posed for the media in front of THY's Malatya aircraft, displaying a banner that read, We have high ambitions, have a good trip, Turkey.
