The securities account at banks increased 2 quadrillion 473.5 trillion Turkish Liras (TL) to 59 quadrillion 699 trillion TL on February 20. The total securities account at banks was 57 quadrillion 225.5 trillion TL on February 13.

The Central Bank data show that there were a total of 58 quadrillion 627.8 trillion TL of securities including 37 quadrillion 590.2 trillion TL of securities and 21 quadrillion 37.5 trillion TL of securities over foreign currency in the deposit banks portfolio.

The securities over TL at deposit banks are composed of 2 quadrillion 603.9 trillion TL in treasury bonds, 34 quadrillion 472.1 trillion TL in state debenture bonds and 467.1 trillion TL in stocks.

A total of 1 quadrillion 5.7 trillion TL of foreign currency securities at these banks are abroad while there is a total of 19 quadrillion 958.7 trillion TL of state debenture bonds among the domestic securities.

The total securities account at the development and investment banks was 1.67 quadrillion TL.
