After meeting Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu in Ankara, Germany’s Interior Minister Otto Schily said that, as the Federal German government, they were ready to extradite Metin Kaplan.
Aksu said that the main subject of their meeting was the extradition of Metin Kaplan, the Leader of Islamic Groups Union. Aksu also said that he appreciated the determination of the German government to extradite Kaplan since this determination was important in terms of Turco-German relations.
