 Turkish ambassador to Germany Osman Koruturk holds farewell reception.
BERLIN (AA) - Turkish Ambassador to Germany Osman Koruturk held a farewell reception on Thursday as his term in office ended.
Speaking to Turkish journalists in the reception, Koruturk said that "Germany is an important country, a big Turkish community lives here. I know that Turks adapted themselves to German society very well and at the same time their love for their country didn't end. I had also close and productive relations with German Foreign Ministry."
Former State Minister Mehmet Ali Irtemcelik who was appointed as the new ambassador to Germany is expected to start his term in office in Berlin in mid-September.
