Turkish associations started a signing campaign and held a demonstration to protest so-called "Armenian Genocide" monuments in several European countries.
Turkish protestors held a protest in Brussels called officials to abolish the monument in Ixell square. The last monument representing the so-called Armenian genocide was unveiled on 24th April in Paris.
This decision had been made as a nice gesture to the Armenian residents of Paris but Turkish people living in the counry reacted as saying the history would turn to a great lie. Meanwhile, Ankara also has harshly reacted to the monument and Foreign Ministry statement said "We strongly condemn this decision aiming to revive the hostilities of the past. Such attempts can not damage Turkey."
